Junior Pereira is a Brazilian-Spanish cinematographer based in Los Angeles.
With a background in photography and design, he brings a visually refined and emotionally grounded approach to storytelling. His work includes diverse projects spanning narrative and documentary including the feature film Montmartre (Feb 2026), filmed in Paris and starring Ito Aghayere (Picard) and Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy); the historical feature documentary Comunidades (2025), filmed in Northern Spain; and Right to Run, a short branded sports documentary highlighting indigenous resilience. His recent short films include Jules and Not Afraid, both screening at Oscar-qualifying festivals and earning a Best Cinematography nomination at the Women’s X Film Festival.
A member of IATSE Local 600 and recipient of the ASC Vision Mentorship with cinematographer Stephen Katz ASC, Junior has also worked on productions such as The Santa Clauses (Disney+) and 1923 (Paramount+)
